Adilynn's Summer & Adilynn:isms

We have tried hard to create a fun summer for Adilynn. Some of my best memories as a child was during the summer- playing outside, going to the park, swimming in the lake, playing with friends across the street, and of course pretend play that took me, my brother and my friends to wherever we wanted to go.

Adilynn loved playing with Graham and all of his cool toys. Especially his trains and cars.

The girls decided they wanted to be in their diapers, and then they started to wrestle.

The favorite part of bath time. When Adilynn gets wrapped up in a big fluffy towel  tightly...we call it "Snug as a bug in a rug" and then she likes to be held like that for a little while. As you hold her she continuously says the saying over and over.

Adilynn: isms

"Oh look new ones.." Everything is new to Adilynn in her world.

"Oh man." This is what she says when she is taking a big step, getting off the floor, or trying something hard. She is a little old women.

"Daddy do that, mommy do that...."  What Adilynn says when she wants you to mimic what she is doing, saying.

"Sit... sit daddy." As she pats her hand  where she wants you to sit.

"Come on.... _____" As she pumps her fist to where she wants you to do.

If someone farts, or she thinks she hears a fart... "Uh oh."

"I potty"  She tells you usually after she already went.

"Deer.... Deer..." Anytime we are in the car and there is woods around she wants to see deer....

"Cow.. Bunny..." Every night she must sleep with both of them.

"Mommy/Dad hold you.."  She has it backwards but this is what she says when she wants held.

Her favorite songs to sing are.. "Twinakle, Twinakle." "Biiyo, Biyoo" and "Rock a baby on twree top."

She does an impression of Michael Scott when he got a new suit and he shakes his booty. We call it the Michael Scott Booty Shake.

One day when daddy got home from work we sat down for dinner and Adilynn looked at Daddy and said  "Right here daddy... its me, Adilynn." I guess she just wanted his attention.

"I pray... Mommy pray, daddy pray." As she folds her hands before dinner.

"Jesus." while reaching up the sky. Sometimes she will just randomly talk to Him... very sweet.

When she wakes up from her crib in the morning she yells... "Mommy, where are you? Good morrrnnninng."

When she accepts talking to bubby she usually puts her eye up to my belly button and yells Aiyoo Bubby, and kiss my belly button.

In the store she yells random things as loud as she can and then asks "Mommy heard that?"

There are so many more. I will have to just start an Adilynn:ism blog!
